Brussels, 06/06/2016 (Agence Europe) - On Friday 3 June, the European Union spoke out against the life imprisonment sentences handed out by the supreme court of Tajikistan to Saidumar Hussaini and Mahmadali Hait, the leaders of the opposition party, the Islamic Renaissance Party of Tajikistan (IRPT), and the long prison sentences of between 14 and 28 years for 11 other members of the party.
