25/05/2016 (Agence Europe) - Possible transfer of MEPs from Greek To Potami Party in S&D to ALDE at European Parliament mentioned. The Greek To Potami Party, whose two MEPs (Giorgos Grammatikakis and Miltiadis Kyrkos) are part of the S&D group in the European Parliament, are looking at the possibility of transferring these MEPs to the liberal ALDE group in the event that MEPs from the Syriza coalition decide to leave the GUE/NGL to join the S&D. Internal party sources confirmed this possibility to EUROPE on Wednesday 25 May. To Potami is described as a centrist party in Greece and is in opposition to the government of Alexis Tsipras, although it has on several occasions already taken part in negotiations with European social democratic leaders.
