Committee work. - BUDG: trip to Jordan and Lebanon to examine bilateral cooperation on Syrian refugees and UNRWA's work for Palestinian refugees (visiting projects financed by the EU) (15-19/05). - LIBE: delegations visiting Vienna and the European Fundamental Rights Agency (16-17/05), Washington and Silicon Valley (data protection and cybersecurity - 16-20/05) and Greece (situation concerning migration, asylum and external border control - 16-20/05). - ITRE: visit to Finland and Estonia (bio-economy, energy markets, start-ups, good local practice, etc. - 17-19/05). - INTA: visit to South Korea to examine implementation of the free trade agreement - 17-19/05). - EMPL: trip to Slovakia ahead of the Slovakian Presidency of the EU (17-19/05). - ENVI: trip to Finland to examine local practices for sustainable forestry management, energy efficiency and conservation of forests and biodiversity (17-19/05).
