13/04/2016 (Agence Europe) - 13th round of TTIP negotiations at end of April in New York. The thirteenth round of EU - U.S. negotiations on the Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership (TTIP) agreement will take place in New York from 25 to 29 April. The forum of stakeholders hosted by the Office of the U.S. Trade Representative (USTR) is planned for 28 April and the negotiations will conclude with a press conference held by the US Chief Negotiator, Dan Mullaney and his European counterpart, Ignacio Garcia Bercero. The TTIP talks during the previous round of negotiations at the end of February in Brussels made further progress in the consolidation of negotiating texts in the pillars on regulatory cooperation and rules. On the market access pillar, the different parties are continuing discussions on the basis of the revised offers on merchandise and the initial offers made on services. The two sides exchanged their offers on public procurement markets at the end of February (see EUROPE 11500). The Commission published a detailed report on the 12th round of TTIP negotiations on 23 March (see EUROPE 11519). (EH)
