13/04/2016 (Agence Europe) - EP ratifies compromise on stock breeding trade. The European Parliament approved (620 votes in favour, 64 against, with 31 abstentions) the new regulation on zootechnical and genealogical conditions applicable to the trade and imports of reproductive animals and their germinal products. This regulation seeks to simplify zootechnical rules in force in the European Union (see EUROPE 11465). (LC)
