Activities of the committees. - IMCO: discussion on the proposal to prevent international weapons trafficking and the distribution of weapons to potential terrorists (potential consequences for legal users); public hearing on great opportunities for consumers, professionals and businesses and in favour of modernisation and innovation. - ITRE: discussion with Commissioner Navracsics (Education, Culture, Youth and Sport) on matters including the activities of the European Research Centre and the European Institute for Innovation and Technology.- PETI: discussions regarding a petition on suspected violations of minority rights in Bulgaria. - ENVI: hearing of experts on vehicle emissions tests under real driving conditions. - AFET: debate with national members of Parliament and High Representative Mogherini on the conflict in the Middle East and North Africa and on the refugee crisis; vote on progress made in 2015 by FYROM and Montenegro. - AFET-SEDE: debate with the Secretary General of NATO and national members of Parliament on NATO's priorities for 2016, its commitment in the Mediterranean and the organisation's summit, to be held in July.- AGRI: vote on legislative plans for the prevention of further animal disease epidemics.
