01/02/2016 (Agence Europe) - Big-data in education. Big data and analytics are too little used by UK universities though they have the potential to revolutionise higher education, says a report by Policy Connect and the ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) on Monday 1 February. The report, From Bricks to Clicks, looks at data collection and analysis, their potential and the obstacles to their development. “Using data collected about the way students interact with their learning provider, and how they approach learning will help shape courses that better meets students' needs”, said Anthony Walters, policy manager, ACCA Western Europe.
