30/11/2015 (Agence Europe) - Mogherini calls for implementation of urgent reforms. On Friday 27 November, High Representative of the EU for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Federica Mogherini called for the implementation of urgent key reforms in the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia (FYROM). “The implementation of urgent reform priorities is needed, in full and in good faith”, she said in a press release after meeting FYROM's foreign minister, Nikola Poposki. Mogherini and Poposki discussed the ongoing implementation of the political agreement of 2 June and 15 July, with a view to holding early parliamentary elections in April 2016 and in line with the OSCE recommendations. “Maintaining good neighbourly relations, including a solution to the name issue, also remains essential, and concrete actions and results are needed without delay”, Mogherini added. The two leaders also discussed the migration crisis. (CG)
