06/10/2015 (Agence Europe) - European Parliament approves €14.6 million EGF assistance. On Tuesday 6 October, the European Parliament approved a total payment of €14.6 million for three countries (€7 million for Germany, €6.3 million for Belgium and €1.4 million for Italy - see EUROPE 11399) in order to help redundant workers find new employment. This European Globalisation Adjustment Fund (EGF) assistance was endorsed by the Council on Monday 5 October. (LC)
