Making electricity meters inaccessible in order to prevent 'tampering' by Roma is excessive and discriminatory

Brussels, 20/07/2015 (Agence Europe) -The installation, by a Bulgarian distributor of electricity, of electricity meters at an inaccessible height in a district densely populated by Roma in order to prevent illegal abuse and “tampering” is liable to constitute discrimination on the grounds of ethnic origin when such meters are installed at a normal height in other districts.
