Brussels, 15/07/2015 (Agence Europe) - On Wednesday 15 July, the European Commission approved the addition of three new products to the register of Protected Geographical Indications (PGI) and Protected Designation of Origin (PDO).
From Croatia, the extra virgin olive oil Ekstra djevièansko maslinovo ulje Cres and the mandarin Neretvanska mandarina received PDO status, while, from the Netherlands, the disease-resistant potato De Meerlander became a PGI.
