Brussels, 13/07/2015 (Agence Europe) - At the Agriculture Council in Brussels on Monday 13 July, France presented an initiative in relation to an international research programme, that has become known as “4 per 1,000”, the goal of which is to develop agronomic research in order to raise stocks of organic matter in the soil by 4 per 1,000 per year. An increase of this scale would offset all the Earth's greenhouse gas emissions.
