09/07/2015 (Agence Europe) - Second round of high level group for CESEC in Dubrovnik. Set up last February (see EUROPE 11249), the high-level group for Central East South East Gas Connectivity (CESEC - Austria, Bulgaria, Croatia, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Romania, Slovakia and Slovenia), chaired by the European Commission, will take stock - during its tenth meeting, in Dubrovnik on 10 July - of the progress made at expert level, with a view to establishing an action plan for building the priority infrastructure which is currently missing in the region. The construction of this infrastructure will secure the region's gas supply. CESEC's ultimate goal is for each of the nine member states in the region to have access to at least three different sources of gas supply. (EH)
