London would like to erase single currency from treaties

Brussels, 21/05/2015 (Agence Europe) - Ahead of the referendum on membership of the European Union promised by David Cameron for 2017 or the end of 2016, the UK Conservative government will seek to persuade its European partners to amend the European treaties to highlight that the euro is not Europe's single currency, The Times reports on Thursday 21 May.
