30/03/2015 (Agence Europe) - Presidency: De Guindos speaks of “significant support”. Spanish Minister for the Economy,Luis De Guindos, who is a candidate for the presidency of the Eurogroup, said on Monday 30 March, at a forum organised by Cinco Dias, that Spain has “significant support to chair the Eurogroup”. “Spain is under-represented” in the informal authority of eurozone countries, he added, whilst the current Eurogroup chair, Jeroen Dijsselbloem, has already expressed his intention to stand for a second term in the summer (see EUROPE 11270). He has put the economic growth of his country for 2015 within a range of between 2.5 and 3% of GDP. (MB)
