Brussels, 13/03/2015 (Agence Europe) - The EU is still awaiting confirmation that Ukraine and Russia will meet on 20 March to discuss post-winter package 2014-2015 arrangements for the supply of Russian gas to Ukraine, said Commissioner Maros Sefcovic who has responsibility for energy union, on the sidelines of a ministerial meeting between the Visegrad, the Nordic countries and the Baltic States in High Tatras, Slovakia, on Friday 13 March. The winter 2014-2015 package is due to run out at the end of this month. “So far the meeting date is standing, but I don't have confirmation from both sides”, said Sefcovic, adding that he believed it was a scheduling, not a political, issue.
