Brussels, 12/02/2015 (Agence Europe) - The former captain of the Costa Concordia cruise liner has been found guilty of the ship sinking off the Italian coast three years ago. The Italian Court of Grosseto also found Francesco Schettino guilty of the homicide of 32 people who died in the disaster. Schettino has been sentenced to 16 years and 1 month in prison, although his defence entered a plea to acquit him, claiming that it was an accident. (MD)
