08/12/2014 (Agence Europe) - MuCem is 2015 Museum of the Year. The Council of Europe has nominated MuCem (Museum of European and Mediterranean civilisations) as 2015 Museum of the Year. This annual prize has this year been awarded on the basis of a list of four European museums. The 2014 prize was won by the Baksi Museum (Turkey), the 2013 prize by the Museum of Liverpool (the UK), and the 2012 prize by the Rautenstrauch-Joest-Museum of Cologne (Germany). (FB)
