Brussels, 08/12/2014 (Agence Europe) - The European Parliament fisheries committee gave its approval on 3 December to the new agreement between the EU and Sao Tomé-and-Principe. The Parliament still has to give plenary session approval to the conclusion of this new protocol which was initialled on 19 December 2013.
The new protocol has applied provisionally since 23 May 2014, for a period of four years, and will allow 34 European Union vessels to fish in the waters of this small republic...
