Brussels, 08/12/2014 (Agence Europe) - The European Parliament opened the competition for the 8th European Charlemagne Youth Prize on Tuesday 2 December. The prize recognises projects carried out by young people promoting understanding and development of a common European identity, and offering practical examples of Europeans living together as one community. The deadline for entries is 2 February 2015 and the three winning projects will be announced on 23 April. (IL)
