Brussels, 26/11/2014 (Agence Europe) - According to Eurostat, the statistical office of the European Union, on Tuesday 25 November, in the EU28 in 2011, cancer was the cause of death for 1.281 million persons, responsible for more than a quarter of all deaths (26.3%).
