Brussels, 06/11/2014 (Agence Europe) - On Wednesday 5 November, the European Youth Forum signed an open letter to European Commission President, Jean-Claude Juncker. It was co-signed by young deputies from the S&D and Greens/EFA groups and called on Juncker to keep his pre-election promise of, “examining the situation of European youth, to help obtain a better future”. They also called on Juncker to adopt immediate measures to create quality jobs for young people, ensure that the Youth Guarantee is effectively applied, that the freedom of movement for young people is guaranteed, that the dialogue with young people and civil society is further developed and young people are guaranteed access to quality education.
