Brussels, 17/10/2014 (Agence Europe) - Negotiations for an economic partnership agreement (EPA) between the EU and the East African Community (Burundi, Kenya, Rwanda, Tanzania and Uganda) have been concluded, European Commission announced on the evening of Thursday 16 October. The text of this asymmetric trade liberalisation agreement between the EU and a sub-region of the ACP (Africa, Caribbean, Pacific) group must now be put forward for the approval of both sides.
