16/09/2014 (Agence Europe) - 1.2% rise in labour costs. Hourly labour costs rose by 1.2% in both the euro area and the EU28 in the second quarter of 2014 compared with the same quarter of the previous year, according to Eurostat, the statistical office of the European Union, on Tuesday 16 September. The highest annual increases in hourly labour costs for the whole economy were in teh Baltic States (between 7.3% and 5.0%). The highest decreases were recorded in Cyprus (3.9%) and Ireland...
