Brussels, 01/07/2014 (Agence Europe) - The restrictive measures imposed by the EU since 2008 on imports of sunflower oil from Ukraine to prevent any risk of contamination of the food chain will soon be lifted as they are no longer justified. The experts of the member states of the EU, meeting within the Standing Committee on the Food Chain and Animal Health on Tuesday 1 July, approved a European Commission proposal to this effect.
