25/06/2014 (Agence Europe) - Signature of PNR agreement between EU and Canada. On Wednesday 25 June, the EU and Canada signed a PNR agreement on the sharing of the personal data of airline passengers, which lays down a maximum retention period for the data of five years, compared to 15 years in the agreement with the United States. The Parliament has still to approve it. EUROPE will return to this. (SP)
