09/05/2014 (Agence Europe) - Wolfgang Schäuble says it will not be possible to cut German taxes. On Thursday 8 May, the German government unexpectedly reduced by €400 million its estimate of tax income for 2013. German finance minister Wolfgang Schäuble said that this left the government with no room for manoeuvre for reducing taxes if it is to meet its target of not issuing new debt next year. (MB)
