At the meeting of the Special Committee on Agriculture (SCA) on Monday 3 February, the Greek Presidency presented a compromise text on the proposed regulation on imports of rice from Bangladesh. It obtained the agreement of the SCA, thereby giving it a negotiation mandate. This text basically aims to take account of the Treaty of Lisbon.
