10/10/2013 (Agence Europe) - Germany's SPD says FTT could feed into the eurozone bank resolution fund. Carsten Schneider, budget spokesman for Germany's SPD party, told the Financial Times on 10 October that anyone who wants a common resolution fund will have to agree on a financial transactions tax. The social democrats have opened talks with Chancellor Angela Merkel's party, the CDU, which won the German general elections in September, to form a coalition government. (MB/transl.fl)
