European Federation for Family Employment launched

Brussels, 19/06/2013 (Agence Europe) - The European Federation for Family Employment (EFFE) was launched at the European Parliament on Wednesday 19 June, at a ceremony attended by and under the patronage of MEP Marian Harkin (ADLE). The European Federation for Family Employment has three objectives: - the exchange and promotion of best practices at European level; - the coordination of joint projects to promote the structure, professionalisation and training of the family employment sector in Europe; - contact and exchange with the European public authorities. It is aimed at several categories of stakeholders: the member states (by helping them to implement concrete policies in favour of families at a minimal cost to the public purse), the regions and European civil society.
