Council discusses Copernicus, industrial policy and spatial debris

Brussels, 27/05/2013 (Agence Europe) - The new regulation for the Copernicus programme, the former Global Monitoring for Environment and Security (GMES) is expected to be adopted by the European Commission on Wednesday 29 May. It will then be formally presented at the Competitiveness Council the following day by the European commissioner for industry, Antonio Tajani, who is expected to call on European ministers to proceed to the rapid adoption of the regulation to make the programme...
