16/05/2013 (Agence Europe) - Anti-dumping, proposal to extend duties against electrodes in Chinese tungsten. Further to a review carried out upon the expiry of those duties, open at the request of the Eurometaux association, the Commission tabled a proposal on 3 May for a regulation to be adopted by 4 June extending definitive antidumping measures imposed on electrodes in tungsten imported from China. With Regulation No206/2007, the Council established in 2008 a definitive anti-dumping duty against certain electrodes in Chinese tungsten, which took the form of an ad valorem duty of 63.5%. Individual antidumping duties affect three Chinese exporters (at rates of between 17% and 41%). (EH/transl.jl)
