Brussels, 15/05/2013 (Agence Europe) - After 36 hours of discussions, the European fisheries ministers agreed on Wednesday 15 May to relax their stance of last February in order to facilitate a final agreement with the European Parliament on the reform of the common fisheries policy (CFP). Only Sweden failed to get behind the revised mandate proposed by the Irish Presidency, due to what it described as a lack of ambition in protecting fish stocks.
