Brussels, 21/03/2013 (Agence Europe) - The European Court of Justice has found France guilty of breaking the EU VAT directive (2006/112/EEC) by exempting from VAT boats and ferries used for commercial purposes or as ferries from the tax even though they are not used on the high seas, as required by the directive.
