21/03/2013 (Agence Europe) - Mergers: TOG-Mitsubishi/HoldCo I. On 20 March 2013, the European Commission authorised the acquisition of German holding company TenneT Offshore 8. Beteiligungsgesellschaft mbH (HoldCo I), by Tennet Offshore (Germany), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Tennet Holding BV, which specialises in offshore electricity transmission in Germany, and by the Japanese company Mitsubishi Corp. The deal was examined using the simplified merger control procedures. (FG/transl.fl)
