De Gucht wants more free trade concessions from Ottawa

Brussels, 25/02/2013 (Agence Europe) - European Commissioner for Trade Karel De Gucht is calling on the Canadian government to take additional steps, at the risk of scuppering negotiations for a comprehensive economic and trade agreement (CETA).

While not giving up hope of concluding free trade negotiations with Canada quickly, De Gucht is urging Ottawa to review its offer. “What was on the table simply didn't please me so I didn't make an agreement”, he told the European Parliament's...
