Brussels, 25/02/2013 (Agence Europe) - The Institut français d'études prospectives et sur la Méditerranée (IPEMED) has announced that Martin Schulz, who is the president of the European Parliament and the Euromed Parliamentary Assembly, has commissioned it to carry out a study of prospects for Europe-Mediterranean-North African relations. The study will take stock of the relations between the two sides of the Mediterranean. IPEMED states that, while the region is experiencing a new wave of tension, the study should set out concrete proposals in order to rekindle the Euro-Mediterranean partnership. The results of the study will be examined during the UfM Parliamentary Assembly that is scheduled to hold its next plenary session in Brussels on 11 and 12 April 2013. (FB/transl.jl)
