On 30 January 2013, the European Commission gave the go-ahead to the acquisition by US clothing and accessories wholesaler PVH Corp (formerly Phillips-Van Heusen) of its competitor The Warnaco Group. PVH owns or sells under licence brands like Calvin Klein, Tommy Hilfiger, IZOD, Van Heusen, ARROW, Bass, Geoffrey Beene, Chaps, Kenneth Cole New York, MICHAEL Michael Kors, Sean John and Donald J. Trump Signature Collection. Warnaco designs and sells under licence clothing, jeans and swimsuits for Warner, Olga, Calvin Klein, Chaps and Speedo.
