Brussels, 11/01/2013 (Agence Europe) - In a bid to encourage tourism, Armenia announced, on 10 January 2013, that it had scrapped the visa requirement for holders of the passports of the 27 EU member states wishing to stay for a short time in Armenia (up to 180 days). A government spokesperson explained that the scrapping of the visa requirement would boost European commercial activity in Armenia.
