Brussels, 03/12/2012 (Agence Europe) - The Consultative Economic Council for investment set up by Tunisia and the EU will hold its first meeting in January 2013. It is made up of representatives of the private sector, including Eurochambres and BusinessEurope.
The announcement was made to coincide with the visit to Tunis of European Commission Vice President Antonio Tajani, who is responsible for entrepreneurship, on 28 November. The creation of this council is a further milestone on the way to deepening economic cooperation and will considerably improve the business climate in Tunisia, says a press release, quoting Tajani as saying there is considerable potential for deepening Euro-Tunisian trade.
