On Tuesday 25 September, President of the European Parliament Martin Schulz called for greater cooperation between the EU and Moldova. At the end of his meeting with the president of the Moldovan parliament, Marian Lupu, Schulz said they needed to deepen their cooperation, for example on finalising negotiations on the association agreement, and on the full and deep free trade area. He would also like to discuss the way to improve the visa regime.
