Brussels, 24/09/2012 (Agence Europe) - At the European Parliament this Tuesday 25 September, the newly formed European Chamber of Bailiffs is to hold an inaugural conference on the theme of bailiffs in the construction of the European judicial area. The conference will launch the new Chamber, which was created on 24 April of this year by the organisations representing the profession of bailiff in for Member States (Belgium, France, Italy and Luxembourg). This initiative aims to promote the activities of bailiffs in Europe and to ensure the greater involvement of the profession in the European debate. Bailiffs join other the legal professions which have already come together in European associations, such as lawyers, within the Council of Bars and Law Societies (CCBE) and notaries, within the Council of the Notariats of the European Union (CNUE).
