Brussels, 07/09/2012 (Agence Europe) - Draft legislation to introduce a common bank supervisory system in the eurozone (to be unveiled by the European Commission on Wednesday 12 September) will be two-pronged: legislation to give the ECB overriding supervisory powers over daily bank supervision by national supervisory authorities; and legislation to update EU Regulation 1093/2010 on the creation of the European Bank Authority (EBA) (see EUROPE 10679).
