Brussels, 21/08/2012 (Agence Europe) - Two European environmental directives took effect on 13 August. These are the new directive on the prevention of major industrial accidents, the so-called SEVESO III directive (see EUROPE 10643) and the new directive on electrical and electronic equipment (DEEE) waste, (See EUROPE 10631 and 10536).
