Brussels, 13/07/2012 (Agence Europe) - On Thursday 12 July the European Parliament budgets committee approved aid from the European Globalisation Adjustment Fund (EGF) for workers who have lost their jobs in Denmark and Spain. Denmark requested EGF aid in October 2011 to finance the training of 550 workers made redundant from the Odense Steel shipyard.
