Brussels, 26/03/2012 (Agence Europe) - Enlargement Commissioner Stefan Füle will be in Kosovo on Tuesday 27 March for the official launch of a feasibility study which will “provide a comprehensive exploration of Kosovo's further integration into the EU's policy framework for the Western Balkans”, the Commission announced on Monday 26 March. The study will be officially launched at the first meeting of Kosovo's newly established Kosovo National Council on European Integration at which the commissioner will speak about the significance of the feasibility study and about the need to approach the European agenda “in an inclusive and consensual way”. The aim of this Council, an advisory and consultative body providing an inclusive forum for discussion on Kosovo's European agenda, is to build national consensus on the EU reform agenda.
During his visit to Pristina, Füle will also hold talks with the President Atifete Jahjaga, Prime Minister Hashim Thaci and also other members of the government: the two deputy prime ministers, EU integration minister and minister of the interior. (CG/transl.rt)
