Brussels, 08/02/2012 (Agence Europe) - Ukraine was the subject of a number of questions in the gas crisis in 2009. The country transits 80% of Russian gas to the EU but has provided assurances that it will be able to meet its obligations. According to state company, Naftogaz, the volume of Russian gas to the EU transited through the Ukraine fell by 12% in January.
