Annual inflation in the eurozone stood at 3% in November 2011 for the third month in a row, according to estimates published by Eurostat on Wednesday 30 November. Although widely forecast, inflation in November was above the European Central Bank's medium-term 2% target for the 12th month in a row. Unemployment figures for the eurozone in October, published the same day, show that it stood at 10.3% of the working population in October, the highest level since the euro was created in 1999.
