Brussels, 28/11/2011 (Agence Europe) - The selection board responsible for assessing the applications for the European Capital of Culture 2017, meeting in Copenhagen on Friday 25 November, recommended that Aarhus and Sonderborg should be preselected for the 2017 title. Once this recommendation has been confirmed by Denmark, the pre-selected cities will have until the summer of 2012 to flesh out and complete their applications.
