Brussels, 16/11/2011 (Agence Europe) - In the first nine months of 2011, the European authorities have intercepted practically twice as many illegal immigrants compared to the number intercepted in 2010. Sea routes to Italy and Malta have become the main access route, due to the Arab Spring and Libyan conflict, indicated the European Frontex agency on Wednesday 16 November.
